Skllbid holds your quotes, your margins, and your money flow. Here is exactly what we collect, where it lives, who can see it, and what we promise to never do with it.
Account, jobs, and how you use the app.
Your account details (name, email, phone, company info), the business records you create (customers, jobs, estimates, proposals, invoices, payments, hours, photos, compliance documents), and basic usage data — what happened and when — which powers things like the audit log and helps us fix what’s broken. We collect what the product needs to work, not what a data broker would want.
A Postgres database on Supabase.
Your data is stored in Postgres, hosted by Supabase on cloud infrastructure. Honest note for Canadian companies: like most cloud software, that infrastructure is not guaranteed to sit on Canadian soil. If data residency is a hard requirement for your business, ask us before you rely on Skllbid for it.
Your company. That's the list.
Every record is stamped with your company, and the database enforces the boundary itself — a protection called row-level security. In plain terms: the database refuses to serve your rows to anyone outside your company, even if our application code has a bug. The links you send out — sub portal, worker links, proposals, track pages, invoices — each show only the slice you deliberately shared: subs never see your customer pricing, workers never see money at all, customers see only their own job.
We don't sell your data. Ever.
Not to advertisers, not to lead-gen outfits, not to your competitors. We don’t mine your invoices to market to your customers. Skllbid will make its money by charging for software worth paying for — not by quietly selling what you typed into it.
Export anytime. Delete on request.
Your business records are yours. You can export your jobs and invoices to CSV today, right from the app, with more exports coming. If you leave and want your account and data deleted, email us and we’ll do it. No hostage-taking.
